The national park is home to over 3,000 different species, including rare species found in Thailand such as Asian leopards, tigers, elephants, sambar deer, and wild boars.

Additionally, Khao Yai offers many other activities. The city has various museums, cultural sites, and temples. Visitors can, for example, visit the Palio Khao Yai shopping center, known for its Italian-style and diverse range of restaurants and shops. There are also stunning waterfalls to admire.
